Riley's Run for Aortic Health

What is a Charity Runner??

A Charity Runner is a participant in a race that is running under the banner of an official charity.  Most half and full marathons have Charity Runners.  There are literally hundreds of causes Charity Runners raise money for including Team In Training, Wounded Warriors, Team Ritter, ALS, and many, many more.  As a Charity Runner you commit to raising a certain dollar amount for the Charity in return for a few perks!  The perks depend on the race and the organization but the biggest perk is knowing you are doing something good for humanity!

To be a Riley's Run Charity Runner you will commit to raising $200 (or more) for Riley's Run and the John Ritter Foundation.  All funds are raised through an online, non-profit, platform called CrowdRise.  Once you register as a Charity Runner, you will receive instructions (and they are listed below) on how to set you your CrowdRise page.  You can use the one provide for you or you can edit it and make it as personal as you'd like!

Perks to being a Riley's Run Charity Runner: FREE race entry!  You do not have to pay when you register for Riley's Run (either the 5k or the 10k).  All Charity Runners will wear a special bib on race day and be recognized at the race and on social media!

To register as a Charity Runner click on the registration link on any of our pages and when selecting your event make sure to choose "5k Charity Runner" or "10k Charity Runner".

On Feb.8, 2020, Riley's Run will check in on all of its Charity Runners to see how fundraising is going and help out as needed!  Throughout the process all Charity Runners will have access to our logos and other materials to help your fundraising efforts!
